Here is a true, wonder story of love and thoughtfulness….
So most mornings, when I go down to check on Michael, I bring a cup of hot tea etc for him. Kayla knows my routine and sometimes she will go downstairs and speak to Him, open the blinds and turn on the Christmas lights and tree. Well yesterday, I had given him a cup of tea like always and later in the day was to pick the cup back up to wash it. Well this time when I did, the tea cup was still full of tea.
I got concerned and asked Mike why he didn’t drink his tea.
He said he did but afterwards when Kayla came down she apparently had refilled it with water and stuck it in the microwave but forgot to put sugar in it.
So he thought she had also added sugar and took a big gulp of what she had fixed, she told him “Feel better Daddy?!” and did her little stimming thing (she has autism) and ran back up the stairs.
I thought that was so sweet. She wants to do her part, what she can to help him feel better.
I thank God that he didn’t run her away nor fuss at her but accepted her gift.
It really wasn’t about the gift, but rather about the love that was shown by the Giver!😉❤😉🤍😉❤
Kindness is a deliberate act. :+)
